With their acclaimed new album 'Small Talk' still resonating vigorously on the airwaves, Trinidadian steel pan veteran Bravo joins talented young Senegalese kora player Kadialy in an unlikely but inspired fusion of music & cultures. Bravo returns to his roots to bring the old Kaiso (pre-Calypso) tradition into the mix, whilst Kadialy's rippling kora playing & insistent vocals draw strongly on the Kouyate family’s griot ancestry. In duo setting, their sound is uniquely poised and complementary..add-in a trio of West African master-drummers and Osibisa guitarist Kari Bannerman for the bigger shows, and the band 'play as if they have no respect for anyone on God's earth!'
