Due to severe weather warning this gig will now take place at LLANDEWI VILLAGE HALL just off A40 near Preseli Garage. From Narberth direction take A40 East turn left after Park y lan pub signposted to Llanfalteg and the hall is just on your right after a row of houses car park in front.We will be serving burgers and soft drinks only but you can bring your own bottles.

Jazz Funk Fusion from Berlin

Solid Airbag band

Berlin based jazz funk band visit Narberth as part of a UK tour. Solid Airbag combine jazz with funk and rock to provide a platform for their improvisational skills. Influences include Soft Machine, Gong, Tower of Power, John Scofield and Pat Metheny. The jazz funk band from Berlin, SOLID AIRBAG will now be playing at a garden party for members and their friends only at Lanmill House, Lanmill near Narberth on Friday 20th. July, by kind permission of the Salmon family. Originally they were advertised to play at Cafe Q but an Iron Maiden tribute was booked into the main hall thus ruling out Jazz in Cafe! This will be an open air gig in their beautiful garden, so dress appropriately. They are only playing at Swansea jazzland and just for us. Sergei Shevshenko from St Petersburg in Russia plays bass. Sergei did not get a visa so his place will be taken by brilliant Welsh bassist -

Stefan Weber – Drums From Berlin, Stefan has established an enviable reputation as one of the city’s most versatile drummers.

Mark Thomas Guitar Co-formed popular Welsh band Just Bongo. Moved to Berlin shortly after the wall fell.

Ludger Wirsig – Keyboards. Ludger was classically trained and has been a professional musician for over 20 years. Has toured extensively including concerts in Russia, China and Cuba.

I think this will be a brilliant evenings music in a stunning garden courtesy of Gaz Salmon and family. Tickets are £6 and the garden opens at 6.30pm You are very welcome to bring picnics and drinks. We will be doing a barbecue but not selling alcohol. To find LLanmill get to Narberth from Penbluin and turn left down Station Road and follow signs to the crematorium. Keep on past the crem and Llanmill is the next small village, you will be directed to a car park.
