The Acapella Festival: Black Voices

Saturday March 6th
Queen's Hall, Narberth. Doors open 7.30, show starts 8pm.

We're thrilled to announce that the wonderful Black Voices will be returning to the Queens Hall. Black Voices are perhaps the UK's leading female a capella group. Formed in Brimingham in 1987, they have steadily built a world-wide reputation, performing for Nelson Mandela, Princess Diana and the Pope among many thousands of others. Inspired by performers such as Sweet Honey in the Rock, Mahalia Jackson and Take Six, Black Voices have developed their own unique musical approach, exploring sacred and secular music from a Caribbean, black British perspective.
Their concerts are unforgettable, the singers seeming to savour every note, infusing the music with a passionate commitment that can move audiences to tears. Their repertoire takes in gospel to spirituals, Caribbean to African, jazz and blues, always seeking to uplift, challenge and educate as well as to simply entertain.

There will be a support act - details to be confirmed. This performance is sure to sell out so please buy your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment!
