CLAUDIA AND THE JAZZMASTERS

Claudia and the JazzMasters are:
Claudia Gunnars, vocals. Graduated from Guildford School of Acting 1997. Tutorials in classical singing with Mr. Roland Sidwell, former leading tenor with The English National Opera. Performed in TV, film and theatre in Iceland and in London.
Tony Amaral, piano. Degree in music, classical piano. A devoted jazz musician for the last forty years. Musical director of Casino Madeira for twenty years, worked with musicians from all over the world, amongst them Danny Moss and Dick Morrissey. Composer, arranger and conductor.
Dominic Norcross, saxophone. Dominic fronts his own band, The Dominic Norcross Jazz Quartet and is a member of the Numbers Racket.
John Davies, guitar
Nigel Williams, drums. Nigel has worked with famous names such as Georgie Fame and Van Morrison.
Wayne Warlow, double bass. A former conductor of the BBC Radio Orchestra and BBC Big Band. Many major artists have had the privilige of working with Wayne, amongst them Tony Bennett. Film and TV score composer, one of them 'Better Days' (Award Winner at the Monte Carlo International Film and television Festival)
Claudia and the JazzMasters revisit the old classics with numbers such as Speak Low, Fly Me to the Moon, I Get a Kick out of You. The band will get the audience swaying to cool, Latin Jazz like The Girl from Ipanema and Desafinado. The JazzMasters revamp old classics with bossanova and rhumba beats as well as tackling contemporary 'classics'. Claudia excels at singing slick blues songs which the band moves through effortlessly.
