THE MAN WHO

PLANTED TREES

Puppet State Theatre Company

A heart warming adaptation of Jean Giono’s wonderful environmental tale.

Accompanied by his faithful dog, a French shepherd sets out to plant a forest and transform a barren landscape. Hear the wind, feel the rain, smell the lavender in this multi-sensory theatrical delight. A unique blend of comedy, puppetry and inspiring storytelling. Puppet State Theatre bring an inspiring and unforgettable story that shows us the difference one man (and his dog!) can make to the world.

Highly acclaimed, with two sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and universally enthusiastic press and audience reviews.

“Expertly put together and extremely entertaining … This is just a wonderful, enchanting piece of theatre for children or for adults”. British Theatre Guide

The Man Who Planted Trees is suitable for adults and children aged 7+

(but is also loved by most 5 and 6 year olds).

There will be two performances 3pm and 6pm

Tickets £7 Children £4 Span members £6/£3 from Span Arts 01834 869323
