LAUGH LINES COMEDY CLUB

Christmas party night

NOW with added EUGENE on the decks to keep us dancing when the acts are over

NICK DOODY

Nick Doody

Nick Doody is one of brightest talents on the comedy circuit. Sharp, topical and not afraid to say what he thinks, his brand of political comedy and satire has won fans all over the country.

Nick's career as a stand-up comedian got off to a pretty good start, whilst still a student, Nick supported the late Bill Hicks on his final tour of the UK. Bill himself had requested Nick.

Since then Nick has become a familiar face on the comedy circuit. As well as gigging regularly all over the UK, Nick has also performed Ireland, Germany and Croatia. Nick is also much in demand as a writer for television, most recently writing for cult animation series 'EMPIRE SQUARE', BBC4's 'LATE EDITION', Channel 4's 'FAQ U', '8 OUT OF 10 CATS' & 'FRIDAY NIGHT PROJECT', ITV2's 'LIP SERVICE' and More4's 'LAST WORD'.
Nick's radio and TV credits as a performer include contributing to shows such as 'THE MARK THOMAS COMEDY PROJECT' on Channel 4, BBC Radio 4's 'POLITICAL ANIMAL and Nick was also one of the regular guests on BBC3's 'COMIC SIDE OF 7 DAYS'.

"Doody's physicality reminds us how important the visual dimension can be. It's an area that all too many stand-ups seem to ignore" TIME OUT
"sick, silly and cerebral" SWINDON ADVERTISER

"very impressive … unfailingly good punchlines … intelligent and funny … comes with the chortle seal of approval" CHORTLE

Craig Campbell

Craig Campbell

Once the notorious host of Canada's legendary Ed's Night Party and headline guest on numerous Canadian TV shows (Jim Carrey Live, The Dennis Miller Show and Just for Laughs), Craig is now set to star on UK television as presenter of Sky One's new hit series From Wimps to Warriors scheduled to air in Autumn 2005.

Craig's unique ability to find humour in the mundane, coupled with his own natural eccentricity makes for truly inventive storytelling. Now an internationally acclaimed act, Craig's whimsical travel anecdotes never fail to surprise.

Craig appears alongside Tony Law and Dan Antopolski as part of comedy trio The Dinks. Their debut Edinburgh show in 2003 was both a critical and box office success, leading to an invitation to perform in the Best Of Edinburgh programme in New York. Craig returned with The Dinks to Edinburgh this summer with another sell-out hit: Dinks II: Mouthbreathin'.

WHAT THE PRESS HAS SAID…
"Craig is, simply, a very, very funny man" - Chortle, UK

"A supremely confident, gifted comic" - The New Zealand Herald

"Craig kicked butt in a very definitive way" - The Eye, Toronto

This is going to be a cracking party night with SILKY promising special additions to the line up of comics and DJ EUGENE to finish the night dancing to top tunes. Order your tickets NOW as we will be sold out before the event.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY TICKETS ON THE NIGHT

WE ALWAYS SELL OUT LONG BEFORE
