Ginger Animations present

Green Ginger is an award-winning Pembrokeshire export and is currently celebrating 25 years of touring its lunatic fringe theatre throughout the world from its bases in Tenby and Bristol. The Company is delighted to be coming back to The Queens Hall with the fourth in a trilogy of tall tales by short people. Directed
by Flick Ferdinando A tale of two pirate radio stations anchored in the same murky waters just off the South Wales coast. One transmits from a rusting steamship, whilst its arch-rival broadcasts from a submarine lurking just beneath the oil-slicked surface. Plunged into this brutal world is Spike, who is snatched from the mainland and press-ganged into apprenticeship in the claustrophobic confines of a leaking vessel. Something has to give...or be taken. RUST is a fast-moving story of truth and treachery, piracy and passion, sex and death. Grotesque puppets, animated sets, special effects and absurd humour are welded together in a dark comic-book vision of low-life on high seas. Quite simply the best thing that Green Ginger has done for years in a word, riveting. - VENUE Magazine |
