Bare Knuckle Parade set to ROCK the Queens Hall!
8pm, Saturday 20 May at Queens Hall, Narberth.
THE place to be this weekend…
To kick off this month’s amazing line-up of musical talent, we have the fantastic Bare Knuckle Parade performing at the Queens Hall as part of their Summer 2017 Tour. Forming in a pub during a drunken conversation between friends, the band instantly became a hit in their hometown of Bath, with their unpredictable chaotic live shows and a vast catalogue of contagious songs.
Music critics have been scratching their heads over which ‘category’ Bare Knuckle Parade’s music falls into; with a mix of folk & indie rock, their sound resonates with a raw and honest vibe, with captivating energy that must be heard to be fully appreciated; if you like Mumford & Sons, then you’re guaranteed to fall in love with their music.
With early fans from the likes of Dermot O’Leary and Rhod Gilbert on Radio 2, appearances at Glastonbury Festival, Nass Festival and 2000 Trees Festival and appearances as supporting acts for performances of James Bay, The Heavy and Enter Shikari. The band recognised they were onto something and it set them in motion to become one of the most exciting bands in the South West.
The night will also be accompanied by the music of ‘The Stangs‘, a 3 piece, Pembrokeshire based alternative rock group. With a mix of song covers from the 50s-80s and a number of their own original songs, they will be an incredible addition to the night’s line-up of musical talent.
Wherever the Stangs play, the crowd are always on their feet, singing and dancing! They always put on a good performance, visually as well as musically; with universally positive acclaim from both event organisers and the crowds, you are guaranteed not to be disappointed!
There will be further support on the night from the local up and coming rockers Tied & Wasted – a 4 piece formed at Pembrokeshire College that plays a range of songs with elements of funk, rock, punk and pop. You can get a flavour of their music on their Official Facebook Page!
It is guaranteed to be an incredible evening of genre and convention-breaking music, with some top talents on the stage at the Queens Hall; we hope to see you there!
