Local bands to support Babyhead!
Comments
Add +Here at Span we love to get the locals involved in the events that we organise – whether that be voluntary work, workshops or actual performance involvement. So, we’ve arranged for local talent to feature in support of the “8-headed ska hip-hop dub monster” Babyhead this March!
Pembrokeshire band Baked Goods and West Wales mash-up The Chalk Outlines will be performing in support of Babyhead at the Queens Hall in Narberth on Friday 25th March.

Babyhead – Span Arts
Born out of love for Jamaican sound clash, forged through a do-it-yourself punk-rock ethic and delivered with a raw hip hop swagger, the unstoppable Babyhead sound has been at the forefront of the UK genre-mashing movement for 20 years.
Babyhead have been a live phenomenon in the clubs and on the festival circuit for over a decade, rocking stages from Glastonbury to Fabric and delivering their unbelievable mix of ska, hip hop, reggae and rock.
It’s no wonder then, that the local bands supporting them are incredibly excited to do so! Opening the night will be The Chalk Outlines, a brass-fuelled 18-legged riot of a Ska band.

Baked Goods – Span Arts
Featuring members/ex-members of cult West Wales bands The Rude em Outs, Beneath the Reef and The Dapper Cadavers, these guys have been whipping audiences into a frenzy with their stomping, sensational live shows.
Local college band Baked Goods will then go on to deliver an epic set influenced by many different genres from around the world, including funk, ska, blues, jazz, hip-hop, and R&B.
So it looks to be an unmissable night, jam-packed with music mash-ups and some serious talent! Grab your tickets here or ring the Span Arts Box Office on 01834 869323
See ya there!
