Narberth A Cappella Voice Festival is thrilled to announce their fantastic line up for the 2017 festival which makes a proud return for its 9th year at The Queens Hall from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 February, for an uplifting celebration of song.

Headlining this year is the enchanting Helen Chadwick, who will perform A WORLD PREMIER on Friday 24 February.  The foremost voice practitioner in the UK, Helen Chadwick will give the performance ‘House Of Light’ a heartwarming concert of Chadwick’s gorgeous a cappella harmony songs including settings of inspirational poems and fabulous harmonies, body percussion and rhythmic games.

Also performing on Friday night is Môr Ladron (The Pirates) a fun-loving, beer-swilling four piece A Cappella shanty group from Ceredigion. Shanty is their passion and they try to blend unique harmonies into the songs whilst still trying to capture the feel of the music. They will be Joined on stage by Bella Voce, an exciting and fresh 16 piece all female vocal group based in Haverfordwest, under their Musical Director Sarah Benbow. Headlining on the Saturday night is Fistful of Spookies who are the residue remaining when The Spooky Men’s Chorale retreated to Australia after their sell-out 2015 UK Tour. A few wizened stalwarts loiter. Like a tide-mark in the enamel bath of song, this collection of UK Spooks are still keeping the flame of Spookiness alive in Britain, still bothering the locals, still looking for the plughole to Oz. Coming together from all corners of the country, they will reprise classics from the Spooky canon of testosterone-fuelled tunes and tomfoolery. They will be joined by the Oxford Gargoyles a young group of crooning students with the perfect blend of toe-tapping jazz notes and grooving doowop tunes. Joining them will be Côr Pawb Bach, a slice of Côr Pawb, Cheerful Project’s uplifting intergenerational community singing project. To book tickets for Saturday’s concert click here.DSC_0094 copy

Join over 150 singers aged 7-70 in a celebration of singing and delicious food. Expect surprises, connections and enjoy the spirit of community. To book tickets for Sunday’s concert click here.
