The incredibly popular Comedy Club is back at The Queens Hall for April, and what an exciting evening it is going to be! Span Arts are thrilled to bring to Narberth one of Liverpool’s top comedians, and half of the political musical comedy duo Skint Video, Steve Gribbin.

Steve Gribbin has become a regular on the UK comedy circuit since splitting with Brian Mulligan and Skint Video in 1993, is now a permanent member of The Cutting Edge topical show at the London Comedy Store and is a regular at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

“A highly refreshing and original comic with a gift for sharp observations and up-to-the-minute political asides… With more energy than a friendly Tasmanian devil, this affable and animated comedian tells jokes, plays the guitar and sings lyrics.”- The Scotsman

On before Steve Gribbin will be South African Pierre Novellie, who was recently nominated for best newcomer in the Chortle Awards (2014). Pierre has previously been seen on BBC Three’s Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live, 4OD’s comedy series Taxi Gags and has also been a panellist on BBC Radio 4’s The Rest is History hosted by Frank Skinner. The daughter of 80s comic Jimmy Cricket, Katie Mulgrew, will be our MC for the evening. Katie has a likable presence who delivers an engaging set, rarely struggling to hold the audience’s attention.

It’s safe to say that this is an evening not to be missed! Tickets are still available via this link or via the Box Office on 01834 869323.

We hope to see you there!
