Theatr Pop-up – A new theatre strand from Span Arts
Span Arts are excited to announce the launch of our new pop up theatre strand, ‘Theatr Pop-up’. In partnership with local rural halls, we plan to bring great theatre to communities who may not currently have access to the arts.
For our first event we have Big Telly’s incredible smash hit Puckoon coming to the Millenium Hall, Llanfallteg, as part of their Spring/Summer 2016 Ireland and UK tour.
Based on Spike Milligan’s comic masterpiece, this hilarious and irreverent story takes the mick, celebrates the absurd, and paints a picture of a simple life that borders on the ridiculous.
“It is easy to see why this rumbustious romp of a show has been a huge hit barnstorming around Ireland. The wildly talented company of six actor-musicians attack Spike Milligan’s absurd comic novel with inspired physical gusto…”
This is sure to be an evening full of laughs and jokes, so be sure not to miss Spike Milligan’s Puckoon live in Pembrokeshire and book your tickets for Saturday 14 May!
For more information on Theatr Pop-up shows and other Span Arts events, head over to the What’s On page on the Span Arts website. The next event, in July, will feature Living Spit’s ‘Bacon Boys’, a hilarious retelling of Three Little Pigs from the company who had us rolling in the aisles with their production ‘Elizabeth 1st’.
Tickets available by calling 01834 869323 or online at spanarts.org.uk
